ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Sunday, 7 June at St John’s Minden, pastor will be available from 9.00am to 11.00am for members to come along and receive Holy Communion. There are no set times for service – simply when enough are present (up to a maximum of 9 at a time), we shall hold a 20 minute service, so come along at a time that suits you within the 2 hours.

Hand wash will also be available. If you are not feeling well, please stay at home, and if any of you cannot make any of the services, please let me know so that I can arrange to come to you.

 

Next Saturday, 13 June. It has been decided that since restrictions have been somewhat lifted, the CoC/Sem. Committee meeting set down WILL GO AHEAD. It will be held at Trinity Marburg, beginning at 10.00am.

The next lot of lifting of restrictions begins on 12 June. From then, up to 20 people will be able to gather indoors for worship. This is a difficult number because most, if not, all our congregations have more than this coming along on a normal Sunday. It will be difficult to regulate services. From 10 July, all going well, up to 100 will be able to gather together. So I am proposing a return to a normal three-weekly rotational beginning on Sunday 12 July. We shall still have to maintain social distancing, but this shouldn’t be a problem in any of our church buildings.

In the meantime, I shall continue to be present at the following churches, using a shortened HC Order of Service. However, if any congregations feel they can keep their number under 20, please let me know so lay-reading services can be organised over the next 4-week period.

An offering plate will be placed at the back of the church. If you wish to use your congregational envelopes they will be forwarded to each treasurer, and loose offerings will go into the parish account.

 

Orders of service will still continue to be recorded and made available.

 

I am not planning on resuming Bible Studies, Women’s Guild etc for at least another month yet.
