It has been stated that at the time of the Reformation, Martin Luther made good use of the printing press. When he posted his 95 Theses on the church door at Wittenberg on the 31st of October 1517, it’s possible that no one would have noticed if not for the press. He used the press so well because he knew his audience and used the language of the people.
Technology has come a long way since Luther’s day. While printing presses continue to churn out many publications, the advent of online media continues to flourish. Almost every little bit of information is available at our fingertips.
